Dear Members and Friends,
Happy New Year of 2017!
Welcome to the home of separation sciences --- Chinese American Chromatography Association (CACA)!
CACA is a non-profit organization, which was established on May 12, 2008 during the HPLC’2008 conference in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. At that time, around 100 scientists gathered in a restaurant to celebrate the birth of CACA. After 8 years, CACA has been developing into an organization with more than 2000 members from Universities, Pharmaceuticals, Chromatography vendors, and Government laboratories in US, Canada and China (please see our leaders in the past years). CACA has also developed excellent sponsorships with the major chromatography suppliers and vendors as listed on the website.
CACA’s missions are:
- providing career development and networking opportunities for separation scientists;
- awarding talent young scientists and graduate students for their contributions in separation sciences;
- offering webinars and virtual conferences to promote new technologies in separation sciences;
- supplying a communication platform for our members to exchange scientific ideas and develop cooperative relationships with each other, and with the separation organizations and companies.
CACA organizes a career developing workshop and a dinner event at Pittcon every year, and networking event at HPLC conference every two years, with many invited speakers from academia, government, and industry.
While CACA members are mainly Chinese American and Chinese scientists working in the US, all separation scientists from other nationalities and other countries are welcome to join. The membership is on a voluntary basis and free of charge.
Hope to see you at CACA’s events.
With best wishes
Chuping Luo, Ph.D.
President of CACA.
