Dear CACA Members and Chromatography Colleagues,

The Chinese American Chromatography Association (CACA) will organize a networking dinner and a workshop at Pittcon 2016 conference in Atlanta during March 6-10, 2016.

The dinner gathering will be held on Tuesday evening (6:30 -9:00 pm, March 8th) at Oriental Pearl Seafood Restaurant (5399 New Peachtree Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341). Transportation will be provided. We will present the first CACA Young Investigator Award in Chromatography to Dr. Xiaoli Wang of Agilent Technologies. Our guest speaker is Professor Peter Kissinger from Purdue University, the founder of Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. He will present a very interesting talk on “Why Determine a Drug in Distilled Water when Urine is Cheaper? Analytical Chemistry in the Academic and Business Environments. Mind the Gap”.

The career development workshop on “How to be successful in your career” is scheduled on Wednesday afternoon (March 9th) from 1:30 PM to 4:45 PM in Room B311 (session 1890). The workshop features speakers with decades of working experience in pharmaceutical and chromatography industries. The detailed program can be found here on page 66 in the final technical program. Dr. Jerry Wang (Bonna-Agela Technologies) will be subbing for Dr. Bruce Liu.

The detailed agenda for the networking dinner and the bus transportation information will be posted on the CACA website as well as on the LinkedIn CACA group website. CACA will subsidize 50% of the dinner cost for students and unemployed attendees.
